Seatech Commercial Diving has been the diving contractor of choice to support HERBOSCH-KIERE in the modernisation of Thunderer Jetty and the Stolthaven terminal in East London.

The works involved extensive fabrication and installation works jetty head piles and pile removal works.

Seatech conducted extensive civils work both shoreside and underwater.

A key element of the planning of the works was the requirement to keep the berth open for the Client’s vessels throughout the operation. All works had to be carried out ensuring that the terminal remained operational throughout the project.

Seatech provided HSE Divers / Welder fabricators and labour over a period extending more than 9 months. The task included extensive and complex civils works, requiring the removal of legacy structures / jetty / buildings / piles, involving, surface and subsurface burning / cutting and welding.
